Florida Bass Conservation Center

The FBCC is the site of the old Richloam Hatchery and is the major freshwater fish production hatchery in the State. In addition to supplying various types of fish, the FBCC also conducts research on aquaculture methods.

Withlacoochee State Park

The Withlacoochee State Park gives visitors an opportunity to experience Florida’s unique natural treasures: the Withlacoochee River, Little Withlacoochee River, and Jumper Creek, all designated Outstanding Florida Waters. The most notable is the Withlacoochee River which meanders through 13 miles of the forest.

Shady Brook Greenway Park

A newly revitalized park in Lake Panasoffkee, on the Southeast end of the lake. The Shady Brook Greenway Park opened on May 10, 2011 and includes a new boat ramp, picnic shelter, table and grill for the perfect afternoon picnic.
